ETE Readymix is proud to announce that our dedicated on-site batching plants for the landmark Shaqra Wind Power Project are now fully operational. Following a seamless installation and commissioning phase, the facilities are actively producing high-grade concrete to support the critical infrastructure of this renewable energy milestone, a 1,000 MW renewable energy development located in the Riyadh Region of the Saudi Arabia.

In a significant construction milestone, the first wind turbine foundation pour has been successfully completed, with approximately 1,000 m3 of high-performance concrete supplied and placed for the initial foundation base. The Shaqra Wind Power Project is a flagship initiative under the Kingdom’s National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) and directly supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the project is being executed by a consortium comprising China Energy International Group Company Limited and China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Power Engineering Co. Ltd Saudi Branch. Under the awarded contract, ETE Readymix will supply approximately 141,000 m3 of high-quality concrete to support the project’s construction requirements. The company’s scope includes full concrete production and delivery services designed to meet the demanding technical specifications of a utility-scale wind power development.

To ensure reliable and efficient supply, ETE Readymix has successfully erected and commissioned two dedicated batching plants exclusively for the Shaqra Wind Power Project. The facilities are now fully operational, with a combined production capacity of 240 m3 per hour, enabling consistent, high-volume output aligned with the project’s construction schedule.
