ETE Readymix is pleased to announce its strategic involvement in the expansion of the Fadhili Gas Plant, a major infrastructure initiative led by Aramco to enhance the Kingdom’s gas processing capabilities. Valued at $7.7 billion, the project aims to increase the plant’s processing capacity by 1.5 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD), bringing the total to 4.0 BSCFD. In addition, the expansion will raise sulphur production by 2,300 metric tons per day. Completion is scheduled for November 2027.
Aramco has awarded Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts to Samsung Engineering Company, GS Engineering & Construction Corporation, and Nesma & Partners. As a key contributor to this initiative, ETE Readymix has been entrusted with the concrete supply scope, reinforcing its reputation for operational excellence and technical expertise.
To support the project, ETE Readymix has commissioned two state-of-the-art batching plants at the Fadhili site, ensuring consistent, high-quality concrete production aligned with project requirements. With a total demand of 500,000 m³ of concrete, the company’s capacity and logistical execution are vital to the timely delivery of civil works. Early mobilization, advanced technical capabilities, and a proven track record have positioned ETE Readymix as the preferred concrete supplier, enabling EPC contractors to meet aggressive schedules and stringent quality standards.
The Fadhili Gas Plant expansion represents a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s energy strategy, aimed at strengthening domestic gas production and supporting long-term economic growth.
