28 June, 2010 ( Wednesday ) : The Supply of Ready-Mixed Concrete Agreement was formally signed by and between Hyundai Heavy Industries  Co. Ltd. ( HHI ) , an internationally renowned company existing under the laws of the Republic of Korea represented by Mr. Sungkil Bae ( above photo ) and ETE Ready Mix, a subsidiary of ETE Group, one of the major ready-mixed concrete suppliers in Saudi Arabia represented by ETE Group Vice President for Operations, Eng. INDEPENDENT POWER PLANT 11  (IPP-11 ) is a mega-project spearheaded by Saudi Electricity Company ( SEC ) , a government owned company, aimed at producing a net power capacity of 2,000MW. The  project is located at approximately 125km North of Riyadh and Is expected to finish in 34 months. However, supply of ready-mixed concrete by ETE Ready Mix is expected to be completed in June 2012. The expected quantity of concrete for the project is between 300,000m3 and 350,000m3.  In order to meet the expected high demand for this project, ETE Ready Mix has set-up  two onsite state-of-the-art batching plant facilities to ensure excellent services and be able to  meet the project demand within the agreed time table. Considering the importance of the project, ETE Ready Mix has dedicated highly qualified Quality Control personnel coupled with a considerable number of transportation fleet to ensure maximum efficiency and output for the project.
