FIRST CONCRETE POURING CEREMONY

On August 10, 2011 ( Wednesday ) at around 4:PM, Samsung & ETE Ready Mix had marked the significant phase of the project, Maaden Aluminum Rolling Mill, as the First Concrete Pouring Ceremony was conducted onsite, which is located at Ras Al Khair area-formerly known as Ras Az Zawr.

The special occasion was witnessed  by Samsung and ETE Ready Mix’s respective key management representatives and was truly a success. Shown on the above photo: in the middle is Mr. Joo Mo Hyun, Samsung’s Project Director and VP. To his left is  Mr. Jei-Sung Park , General Manager, ( Steel & Metals Plant Project Management Dept.)  They are  flanked by Samsung’s other junior officers.

Whereas, ETE READY MIX was represented by Eng. Amarendra Dheer-Technical Director ( first from right ), Dr. Abdulelah Idrees-Business Development Manager ( third from right ) & Mr. Tariq Bu-Khamsin - HR & Public Relations Manager (fifth from right).

During the ceremony, both parties had reaffirmed their total commitment through mutual cooperation & support and to work as  one team to ensure the success for the said project.

ETE Ready Mix has finalized its  agreement to supply concrete to Samsung’s three  projects with Maaden located at Ras Al Khair area. namely: Rolling Mill, Cast House and Silo Port Facility ( SPF ). Furthermore, ETE has commenced in fixing two state-of-the-art batching plant facilities dedicated for Samsung’s projects, expected to be finished in 8 weeks.

Meanwhile, ETE’s existing batching plant at Ras Al Khair area has been especially installed to serve Saline Water Conversation Corporation’s ( SWCC ) concrete requirements for their project also  in the same area.
