The presence and reputation of SAMSUNG ENGINEERING CO. LTD.  in Saudi Arabia has gained a notch higher for over a decade, after it  has been selected again by SAUDI ARAMCO to perform the engineering, procurement and construction ( EPC ) work for all SHAYABH NGL Program for the construction of the recovery plant at the SHAYBAH FIELD. 
  

Official report obtained from SAUDI ARAMCO states that, “the scope of the project includes the construction of the inlet NGL recovery trains, dehydration, residue gas compression, acid gas compression, NGL storage and shipping the upgrade of gas handling capacity for the four existing gas oil separation plants (GOSPs) & other associated facilities.” 
  

Through this large-scale project, ETE Ready Mix has further solidified its strong business relationship with SAMSUNG, as this project marks the second mega- project after Ras Al Khair, that is being awarded to ETE Ready Mix for exclusive supply of ready-mixed concrete. 

On 29th June, 2011, ETE Ready Mix inked a minimum of 160,000 m3 as estimated quantity of concrete to be supplied to SAMSUNG’s SHAYBAH Project through  onsite batching plant with state-of-the-art facilities  for a period of 36 months , with  completion target  expected to be in the mid of 2014. 
  

Shaybah field is located some 800 km Southeast of Dhahran however,  even in the remotest project location such as Shaybah with  hostile environment to add up the obstacles , seemed not to be a deterrent factor for ETE Ready Mix management to seize the  huge opportunity. In fact, as stressed by Eng. Morhaf Bu-KHamsin, General Manager, “Samsung’s Shaybah project is a great opportunity for ETE Ready Mix to prove its capability no matter how skeptical other competitors are about the return on investment  of the project considering its location.” 
  

Henceforth, amidst all the logistical barriers,  ETE Ready Mix was able to overcome the challenges especially in terms of logistical  activities so is manpower  deployment. Since January 2012, ETE Ready Mix  Shaybah Station has started its production and is fulfilling its contractual obligation with SAMSUNG to deliver high quality products and services  until the project is completed.
